Amongst the islands you will witness the warmth, charm and beauty enjoyed by generations of families. The islands are said to be the tips of rugged mountains stripped of their tops by glaciers. They actually count over 1,800 islands. The area is home to wonderfully scenic bays, channels and passages that are demanding of your camera. The shallow draft of the Canadian Empress allows her to meander amongst the islands as she seldom cruises the straight-through deeper channel. Nature lovers will be in a land of awe, sighting wildlife along the shores from island to island.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1	Your 1000 Islands Encounter cruise commences with boarding in historic Kingston, Ontario. If possible, plan to arrive in Kingston early and spend some time in this historic and vibrant community.
Day 2	Weigh anchor to wander leisurely through the Admiralty Group of the 1000 Islands en-route to the Heritage Center of the 1000 Islands. Then it's onto Millionaires' Row once the playground of the rich and famous from the turn of the last century.
Day 3	It's an early departure for yet another first-class attraction, Fulford Place Mansion. You'll quickly appreciate the opulence of the turn of the last century in the furnishings and décor of this magnificent Mansion.
Day 4	The Captain will take you on a waterfront tour before berthing in front of Kingston's Majestic City Hall. Unfortunately, all good things have to come to an end, but not before our closing Ceremonies in the Grand Saloon.
